St Mary S Cathedral 2024 Schrikkeljaar. Designed by george gilbert scott and dedicated in 1879, it is the seat of the bishop of edinburgh, central church of the diocese of edinburgh in the scottish episcopal church, and a landmark in the city's famous new town. St mary’s catholic cathedral is a parish of the archdiocese of st andrews & edinburgh, a charity registered in scotland, number sco08540.
